US Open

The US Open is traditionally the fourth and final Grand Slam tennis event of the year and one of the highest-attended annual sporting events in the world. The US Open is owned and operated by the United States Tennis Association (USTA), the national governing body for tennis in the United States. The U.S. Open developed from one of the oldest tennis championships in the world: the U.S. National Championship, which was established in 1881. In 1978, the US Open moved to its permanent home in Flushing Meadows-Corona Park in Queens, New York to what is now the USTA Billie Jean King National Tennis Center.
